my dear -- you have been an orange-loving, vibrant, zebra like (not your usual horse) kind of person, someone filled with zest for life, and not afraid of outlandish edges, you have loved extravagantly, tasted every bite of every lunch out with glee, and sent so many supportive messages and affirmations of life, even in the face of challenges, and struggles. You have loved your children fiercely, if from afar at times, you have dug deep to know more about who you really are in the depths of your soul, you have written poetry, beat drums, hung art, read books, written a dissertation, negotiated your way in your own way and time through a PhD program that you loved with passion. You found yourself in tight spots, and on the ground, and in a quandry, at various times, and figured out how to wiggle free, get up on your feet, and sort out how to go forward again.
